I blame rep for me buying a boat. Just kidding
I have my fast electric boat for the lake. But i wanted something bigger for the bay. Great thing about living on long island we have miles of ocean but only 2 lake's or ponds that you can run gas on...

Ordered a clutch and gas bags from gizmo
Not a big fan of starting a engine and having a sharpened prop spinning. Got the clutch installed and bags fitted primed the system and
NO start.... Not really seeing any spark but i don't think it would be very bright on these engines

Also need to find larger steering things as the one's supplied seem to be for micro servos
And the radio tray is made for standard servos

Looks good. The servos on boats don't need to be huge like 1/5th scale cars. Your steering throw is only about 35 to 40 degrees maybe even less. The servo for my 1/8TH scale hydro is a water proof Savox SW-0231 it needs to hold the steering angle set while going through a corner at 60 mph. Most folks aren't going through corners flat out like a Hydro does. I know on my Cats I have to slow down for corners so the boat doesn't spin out or roll over.

Try it with the servos you have before spending more money on bigger servos you may not need.

Spark is spark weather is on a 1/5 scale car or a Gasser boat they are the same engines just water cooled instead. You should see the spark. Check the coil and how its set up.
