Technically I don't race. I guess you could say we bash on a closed course..lol. I'm lucky enough to have a spot and some equipment to make a little playground for myself.
As far as race specs go, we're more of a "run what you brung" kinda group.
I run the DDM 14.5lbs springs in front and 11lbs in rear. Allumminum front and rear chassis protectors and I think 60wt shock oil at the moment. Even with that the bottom of the chassis takes a pretty good beating. Thats probably because I have a good tendency to send it!

Thanks. That's a BA mini offroad park/track and cool pics!

Is anyone running a Taylor Billet Diff mount for the 5T 2.0? I have the mount, bearings and main screws. I am missing the brakes screws (and nuts?).The screw holes are not threaded so I'm assuming they require some custom nut that seats in the recessed area on the inside of the mount. I cannot get any info on the required screws/springs for this mount.

Do you have any videos/links of that day at your track. Would like to see that thing ripping it.

Does it use the stock Losi-branded brake screws and nuts? Maybe that's why it doesn't come with them.

I think they use the stock hardware. I think you can get the screws, LOS252095,if you buy the brake disk kit , but its not cheap and if you can find it. I ended up using a m2 or m3, not sure of size, with a long shoulder and cut off extra threads and used nylock nut on back. I think i had to drill out the housing to fit, and used the spring spacers that came with the 30dn.

I tell you, it's REALLY annoying that Losi discontinued parts availability for the 5ive-T. It's one thing to cancel the truck. But to not be able to get parts for it is a real d!ck move on Losi's part.

I have no idea, I don't have an actual 5t to see what the losi screws looked like. Do the losi brake screws, screw into the stock diff mount frames or did they pass through and get secured with nuts on the inside? The taylor 5t mount as mentioned does not have threaded holes and on the inside is some very small rectangle shaped recesses which appear to capture some nuts. I'd like someone to confirm the 5t brake screw setup. Some pics would be helpful.

So are you saying the losi screws did in fact freely run through the diff mount holes and are secured with nuts on the inside?

Perfect, that's what I needed to see Thanks a bunch! Those shouldered screws and nuts are what I need. Hopefully can find something at ACE hardware. lol.

So on a slightly different subject. The 3dn roller came with stock 19t/58t gears. The engine I have came with the TLR clutch and bell housing.
The rear 3dn diff brace and the TLR bell housing/mount will not allow the 19/58 to mesh, it does to not have enough free clearance between the parts.
I really want to run with the TLR bell housing and stock gearing initially so I decided to remove enough bell housing material to allow this to fit. The pic was before final clean up. It turned out pretty good and now it will snug up to the rear diff brace. Its crazy how tucked in the rear brake pads are into the clutch housing... There's' no way to tune the rear brake pad base set tension without diff mount removal with this setup.
Getting closer on this chassis...

Found the entire 5t brake kit on ebay its only $100 :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

Well darn. I'm glad you mentioned this. I would like to get a better gas cap but I have a 30 Degree North tank. I wonder if it has the same threads as the LT tank.
The DDM Billet caps fit the 30DN tank perfectly...
