I think larger engines are cool, don't get me wrong. Just saying it really don't seem to be worth the hassle unless you are only thinking of the "cool"-factor. Larger displacement engines usually don't rev high cause of more moving mass (parts in the engine being larger). You can make them rev higher but at cost of durability and lifetime. This is especially the case with larger air cooled engines, there is no possible way to remove the heat fast enough. That's why almost all racing engines etc are water-cooled (especially 2-stroke engines). The torque is most of the time higher in a large engine, but zenoah engines and it's counterparts actually have a really high torque even though the small displacement.
You are of course entitled to your own opinion, but I am just sharing mine.
 
never said small don't rev higher. i know they do. that is why i said put the tallest gears(that means the fastest ones for people who don't speak english) on a 23cc and see what happens. then put in the 62cc and see the difference. i had a 23cc in my firehammer and it went ok, then i put in a 28.5 raceport in it, extended the chassy 4.51nches put on redcat rampage mt tires and i'm using the 16 tooth transfer gear insted of the 14 tooth one. the tires still burn cause of the torque but i don't have the same revs but its faster( by alot) cause of going taller on the tires and gears. less rev doesn't always mean slower. that property is still yours if you want it.
 
Now you are comparing your 28.5 with this 62 then i assume? You are just floating away.
I think you got the whole engine concept a bit wrong. My well placed guess would be that with the 62 engine you are probably loosing around 5000 rpm (this is my guess since i don't have the engine specs) compared to a zenoah engine with a tuned pipe. You can try to compensate that with taller gears. Do you honestly think you get massive amounts of torque just because a higher displacement?

But hey you do that, enjoy a slower back heavy car that cant start on loose surfaces without digging itself down (NOT due to massive power, just because of massive weight).

Depends on the engine and it's SPECS, a 23cc can have more HP than a friggin 125cc engine, its not probable but it all depends on what the other engine delivers.

You have no valid arguments, from the first reply to me you have resorted to personal attacks, and faulty information. You seem to have a very personal relation to 62cc engines. But fine lets say it's me with the lower IQ ;)

I've no experience whatsoever with 62cc, and admit that I'm fascinated.
2 engines synchronised is more interesting again ...
Then there's the Conley V8 !! :D:D:D (That's only 100cc)
 
ok so i just got bak from field n read everything i love my baja w the 62 n yes it does wheelies all the time but a baja w a smaller motor n taller gears can also n theres not really a diff between speed cause of wieght but u can think what u want i have never had to toose my truck to get it to go n all i am asken was do u think its possible to do cause i m gonna fine a way to do it any way n the twin engine was also a thought but i said mayb ill try to do something diff
