Right Guys,
Those of you who have been following the NORTHWEST UK BASHERS thread will be aware that there have been some problems with the authorities recently and our bash spots are rapidly decreasing in numbers, due to complaints from the public etc.
So a few of us are starting to take some action. Charlieboy has begun to form the "Northwest largescale offroad club" and is going to approach the guys at the Rossendale track to see about club discounts / bash days.
Me and Pablo plan to present the club to our council, and with a large enough list of members names, ask the council if they would donate to us some land to bash on, away from the public.

SO IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN THIS, PLEASE PM ME , WITH YOUR NAME AND A CONTACT EMAIL ADDRESS.

This list will hopefully start to form the members list for our club,which can eventually be presented to our council.

sorry to put a downer on this thread pete mate but i've just been speakin to roger (rc demon) and told him what we are doin and was told that it wont make a differance because if the the council gives us a place to run they will be liable for any accidents or damage caused by our cars. bob (kingcobra), roger (rc demon) and the guys from rossendale models tried it and didn't get anywhere thats why they bought the land at the quarry and built the track! sorry for the downer guys :( :(
 
just been on their website and found that if you join you get third party insurance so if we all join the brca the council wont have any insurance issuse cause we will all have our own insurance :clap::clap::clap: just need to contact them tomora to make sure :cool2:

Thats ace news though. So as long as we all had BRCA membership (about £15 ish per year ?????) then we would all be covered.
If this is deffo the case then it helps us a lot :clown::clown:

Not yet mate. I have an email address for "The council" so I'm going to put together a mail giving a rough idea of what we are looking to do and try to get a name or two for people at the council who we need to contact with specific regards to our crusade !!!
