I bought a FG in April and now it is September and I love it like it is the first day out with it.
I have run about 2 gallons of fuel threw the truck and now I have a few question about it. Since I will be layed off this winter I figured I would take it apart and really get to know the machine.
Here is some questions
I seem to have to rev it up quite abit before the clutch engages. What adjustment or part should be added/replaced?
There is at times abit of spitting and sputtering I am thinking maybe some bad gas but is there anything else I should look for?
Brakes, exhaust and maybe some alum to add to it. Alum upper arms in the rear, the stock ones seem to be getting abit thinner
I would also wondering any ideas about handling and performance that could be addressed?
Not looking to break the bank but should have some extra to throw around at the machine. Brakes and exhaust are already budgeted for but have some extra for other things to help out.
Any ideas would be nice and very helpfull.
Did I say I love this machine, man selling my savage was tough at the time but man I don't miss the headache. Though I do miss the sure jumping ability of the savage and 4 wheel was nice but the FG sure can go through things
After 2 gallons of fuel I still have the same shell but abit damaged. I figured I would trash that but I must be getting the hang of the thing. maintance is so easy on this just like any small engine. I get my extra things within reason from my local hardware store or small engine shop and for alot less money.
