we are going to make some changes to the last turn, and some other changes on the 5thscale track that people wanted done.. and the 8thscale will be worked on some more this week..:2guns:
 
Looks like a great track! Hopefully I can catch up with you sometime soon. Did you take those shots, XXL Savage? They're excellently done.

there is talk about a race on Oct 24? we redid the table top tonight and the other 2 smaller jump so they were not as steep. and we are now working on the last turn we added 25+ feet to the last turn:2guns:
 
swap meet and racing on OCT 24th

First, thanks to everyone who has put in a great deal of time on the tracks here in Sheboygan! There has been many people putting in some long hours and doing exellent work, along with bring out some heavy equipment! The tracks are looking awsome and are coming along GREAT! Second, we are looking forward to having some fun on Sat. The swap meet will start at 12pm on Sat (you can show up any time) and end when the last person leaves. We will have tents, heaters and generators on site, but bring whatever you feel you will need! We will also have grills available to cook your food on if you wish! We will have our AMBrc transponder system set up and ready to use for racing. Remember, we DO HAVE 1/5 AND 1/8 & 10TH scale tracks. We will be racing on both of them! Don't forget to bring whatever it is you would like to buy, sell or trade! We look forward to a fun day of racing, swapin' and meeting all the local racers! The track is located at N7402 State Highway 42, Sheboygan, WI 53083 - behind Sheboygan Yamaha Inc in Sheboygan, Wi.
 
Due to the rain and weather this past weekend we have rescheduled the race and swap meet on Sunday, Nov 1st. We will start at 12 noon. We will have a 20x20 heated tent up and several other tents available. Bring everything you want to race, swap, sell or money to buy. There was still a great turnout last Saturday considering the rain and the event being canceled! The newly built track is at N7402 hwy 42, Sheboygan, Wi. We will be racing 1/5 scale, 1/10, 1/8, mini's and whatever else you bring to race. This will be and electric and nitro race. Remember to bring whatever you have that you would like to buy, sell or trade at the swap meet. We will have heated tents and grills to do some cooking. Make plans to attend this event and check out our newly built tracks!!
 
That's great! I couldn't make it last weekend, since I was photographing a wedding, but I hope to make it up there this week...as long as I can figure out what's leaking on my 5T.
 
Hi everybody, anything going on at the Sheboygan track the next couple of weeks? I've been following the progress on it but don't get too many days off work. Its looking real good.

2wd Buggy Off-Road Race – This event is to include all 2 wheel drive 1/5 or 1/6 scale gasoline powered buggies / truggies. Let’s see the HPI Baja’s and FG buggies race wheel-to-wheel. and clones

·Engine – 23cc to 30.5cc gasoline powered only. No restrictions.
·Exhaust – No restrictions.
·Vehicle Weight – No restrictions.
·Tires – Only commercially available buggy tires. Tires may be modified & trimmed by the racer to improve performance. No metal studs or screws.
·Bumpers - No steel or sharp bumpers.
·Fuel Tank – Must use stock fuel tank. Total fuel line length may not exceed 12 inches beyond stock length. Quick fill fueling systems will be allowed.


·Event will consist of 2 qualifier rounds (10 minutes) and 1 round of mains (20 minute A-Main).

if there is not enough of people too participate we will run the classes together..nod.gifnod.gif ALSO YOU MUST EITHER HAVE A WORKING FAILSAFE OR A 3rd CHANNEL ENGINE CUT OFF OR YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO RUN....

 
the track was doing pretty well this past yr. we had anywhere from 6-8 peolpe show up, not bad for a first time setup.. this yr we plan on having more people/cars come out and changing up the track layout..

Update

we are palnning on building a new track @ the same location:D and we also plan on keeping the same 5thscale track we cureently now have the new track will be bigger with wider lanes yet.. the 1/10th scale track is going to be used for 1/5thscale and other scales as well, and a new drivers stand to come also.. alot of new changes to come..:cup-1:
