APPLY CARBON FIBER ?

Any info you guys could pass on , about administering a coat of carbon fiber ? Any help is very much appreciated,,, : r ; needed ?

I haven't seen anyone actually coat something in carbon fibre, but I have seen people use carbon fibre wraps and hydrodipping.

For carbon to look pretty its usually a vacuum infused resin technique. If you want it to be structural and isn't a vanity piece you apply it as you would like fiberglass and resin other wise you will get a rough uneven surface if you apply the resin with a brush .

Well I'm prolly going into modification distress again , but I was thinking about carbon fiber for the inside of the miss GIECO I watched a video of a older guy showing his miss GIECO after it flipped and exploded , LITTERALY ! Sounded like a good winter project , also there s couple guys that have done it , but know nothing about making a video , rediculouse really , but sure looked nice

IF you do it you need to find out if the original hull is made with epoxy or polyester resin. I forget which way it works but either epoxy will not stick to polyester, or polyester will not stick to epoxy. If you do it wrong you will end up with a sticky mess that will not cure.

To much math , think I'll just stay outa full throttle , this boat is so fun , took it out today , ran 4s and 6s , very cool , if it exploded I'll buy another one
