are baja and dbxl motors compatible

It's not just the engine itself ,what size engine are you referring to because larger engines will have different components unique to themselves to fit what your trying to put it in and a dbxl uses a 3 point engine mount and I would assume you would need to change clutch housings to fit.. and since the baja and dbxl both come with 23cc engines I would say yes they are equal but would be mounted differently and cy and zen use different mountings

i have motors in both right now and am looking at buying the zenoah. i can just take the parts i am using now and bolt them to the new motor right? for either car? thanks for the help

No I meant the housings and filter for a Zen. You will need different ones for each rig. The stuff you’ve got now I have no idea about.

What I would suggest is buy the Zen and get the DBXL fittings then you know that will work. Then try your Baja fittings on the Zen, they will either work or not and you’ll know where you stand. No money lost.
