I have had a Baja 5T for years now but over the last 4 years it's basically sat in my garage untouched.

I had the sudden urge to get it back up and running. To my surprise my lips batteries seem perfectly fine. I believe I did a 'storage charge' on them before so that probably helped.

The carb and everything seems to function fine. The truck fired up after only a few pulls and sounded just godly.

I have a broken rear shock shaft but I have a replacement on the way.

Here is an old thread from 2014 of some of the upgrades on the truck. I truly forgot how godly this truck was and how much money I sunk into it lol.

I am in your boat as well. My HPI Baja ran very little before storage. My Losi 5ive was never run. They were prob 8+ years in storage. I have some electrics and Nitro cars that are 12+ years in storage. I pulled my old 2 speed Inferno GT that I modded like crazy out to get 75 mph before I put it away and smiled. My Revo and other buggies are still sitting in boxes. I did grab my Rustler VXL and my Kyosho Half 8 out to get them running. The Rustler just needs a Tx but the Kyosho was being converted to brushless so it is in pieces.
