Baja 5B engine choices.

Gosh it’s been years since I joined a forum.

Anyways, I have a 2 speed Baja 5B I’ve been building up from what started as the new SBK. Currently rocking a OBR32SS with every option checked off including the bored carb and balanced crank. I love the original Baja look so keeping the factory cage is mandatory.

Does anyone know if I raised the cage, would it give me enough clearance for a Taylor 40GT? Not saying I’m ready to just my 32 but just like knowing what my options are for more displacement.

I know you can fit a big bore with the kraken tsk-b cage

Dang I couldn't imagine how fast would be with the 40gt. Probably a wheelie machine. My esp ported 32cc rips in my baja 5b.

Mine rips too! Not knocking it at all but the 32 needs to rev. Low down it unfortunately doesn’t have much. Just thinking of other options. Maybe a WT1257?
