HI Guys,
I really need help with choosing which is a better Baja, should i go for the Baja 5T or Baja 2.0 with 26cc Zenoha engine. Please ur advice, I never owned a baja or a gas engine rc before, i have use nitro, and i need some help with choosing which baja to go for, these cars are quite expensive and i want to make sure where i spend my money

They both have a CY unless you are trying to decide between a couple used ones.

Have you thought about the Baja SS as well? It's in kit form and building it would be much more fun.

I have the original 5b rtr. You really can't go wrong with either one. Check out videos on youtube if you haven't already and watch the different versions run. I think if I was going to get one brand new and didn't have one, I'd get the 5t. (if you order from www.davesmotors.com, put in the code LSF to get 5% off).

I am going for the 5B 2.0... LOVE THE LOOK OF THE BUGGY.. AND I CAN ALWAYS CONVERT IT TO A 5T

PS: HPI HAS RECENTLY MADE A DEAL WITH ZENOAH ENGINES, AND THEY ARE SUPPLYING THIER 266 ZENOAH OUT OF THE BOX WITH THE NEW 2.0

You got any links to this affect? On the HPI US web site all it shows is CY engines. Since I go to the biggest forum RC sites I think I would have heard of this before now. But would be happy to be proven wrong.

All so the 2.0 comes with a 23cc engine.

WOW I stand corrected. When did all this happen with HPI and Zen? I could not find anything about it on the net.

2 suggestions. get the Turtle clutch system and a GOOD KILL SWITCH! A kill switch is the BEST insurance you can get.
 
Do you have a link where you bought this baja? I all so notice in the video when you show the box the factory seals are broken. You can see this all so when you are taking it out of the shipping box. Looking to me where ever you bought switched engines before shipping.

HI ALL, i got the Baja from my local hobby store, they don't have a website..Sorry... as for the seals i removed them myself before i made the tape... i don't think they switched engines... however just for say,, zenoah engines are much better than CY.... :)

you will find in the video, also this is a EU kit, and its not a US kit .. cheers
 
LOL... this thing about engines is annoying... anyway i will could not find anything on the net regarding HPI and Zenoah engines.. I will pass by my local hobby store today and find out what the deal is ... Cheers ...
 
hey bro the turtle racing clutch system takes about 5 parts away from the baja and makes them in to one it fixes countless amount problems one being the the pinnion bolt snapping. later on you will start to notice this. also it keeps you baja clutch bell clean of debree and puts a very nice clutch system in it.

bte you baja break in video thats a dam nice place is that your house with a pool ?.

with you engine did you check for spark, secondly did you run in sand ????? running in sand with out a redneck airfilter and outerwears can be deadly to an engine.

OK .... I went to my local hobby store today and was told the following :
That this particular dispatch included the Zenoah engine due to stock shortage in HPI of the CY engine...... so i guess i was lucky to get the 26cc zenoah engine ... thank god. ..
