Unfortunately this thing doesn't fit my stock 2.0 motor. I have tried grinding the holes tad bigger but the screws still don't line up. I have tried screwing each screw individually left or right but no matter what I do it doesn't fit.

I text bartolone asking for help or replacement but haven't got a reply yet. I am only 20min away from him.

Are the welds suppose to look like this? The ones on his website look much better and cleaner.

the welds could look alot better than that...its probably going to boil down to quality control at this point.... could be a Monday or Friday job or a new hire welding...but if you have to grind into the welds like that then something is wrong..opening the holes is one thing and acceptable. But grinding welds flat for washers thats a no go situation

Yeah I couldn't grind it anymore or else is going to put a hole in the welds. I just hope they will replace it if not I will sell it for cheap and run the stock pipe.

You would be missing out on the night and day difference with a tuned pipe vs the box....if he's 20 minutes away take your pipe and rig and say here please show me what Im doing wrong...also my curiosity is how are those bolts in the flange and into the head? Are they started in the threads or are they just laying there??? If their started then its pretty close.but for the money this should just be a bolt on kit...hell my 100 ebay pipe was bolt on

The bolts start fine. The holes on the pipe do not line up correctly. As you can see the washers are hitting the welds even after grinding them down. I also used just 2 bolts no washer or lock washer and still wouldn't line up. Can't grind anymore because the welds will get destroyed and also wouldn't be anymore metal left for the gasket to sit on.

those washers are just touching to be honest...i would clean it up and see how it goes...if it binds or is hard to turn stop and abandon it...you'll strip the head and its game over

Even barely touching is not going to work. Not just on one side but both sides are like that. I did not force it at all as soon as it started to get tight I stopped. Didn't want to destroy the threads on the head and waist time re tapping it.

What size is your motor? Did you accidently buy a pipe for a 32cc and up motor . You elongated those holes quite a bit thats why I ask. Does the port size on the engine match the opening on the header?

It is for a stock 2.0.

I went ahead made the holes little bigger and still doesn't fit. Must be a bad header or something.
