I run the 6400 killer in mine, mainly because I had one for my dbxl and it fits in all the boxes I had. Bit more universal.

I've always ran nanotech LiFE batteries. depending on the size you get they can fit in many trucks.

And don't have the power of a lipo. Which is also very safe. No need to run a life if you have gear that will take a lipo.

newby question but why do you like lipo i only see them blowing up catching fire

Because they have the most power density of any battery currently on the market. They are not unsafe, the booms are from idiots not taking care of them, or not using the right chargers on them. Lithium batteries are used in everything, phones, tablets, hearing aids, laptops, electric cars, hybrids ect. So its not hard to come up with them on fire with as much as they are used. You think tesla would be using the tech if all they did was blow up? Hell lead acid batteries can blow up, so can nimh or nicd batteries just part of the hazard of batteries. Lithium stores more energy so it's boom will be bigger if it let's loose. Heck I have packs going back close to 10 years now and never once had an issue with any of them, crashed more then one heli out of the sky and never had a pack swell up from a hit. It's nothing to be feared.
