with the belt drive can you gaer up and down with it. and what do you need to buy to get it to work or dose it come with everything you need.

the one available right now from rcdad comes geared for tt/xb buggy size tires... nothing yet for our mt's. I want one for my xt also but wanna stick with the mt tires, so we'll have to wait for other size pulleys to be available from rcdad or demonrc's system to come to market.

Currently the only ratio for our Cats 1:1. I am told other ratios will be available in the future. It comes with everything needed. It mounts in place of the gears on the factory shafts using your factory hardware.

The pro already has the aluminum gear plate with the larger bearings, so you are good to go.

If you are running the MT tires the gearing will be higher than stock. More top end but slower off the line.

There currently is a 1.54:1 ratio for the carbon fighter model this is like our 25-35 gearing.

They should have this for the cats in a couple months.

Like Leftnut said, if you have a somewhat souped up engine (ie heat kit) built for little more torque, wouldn't that help a lot in making takeoff less slow?

Yes it would me much better then if you were running the stock motor.

so would you go ahead and get one or would you eait until they come out four are trucks.

I will have more ratios by March. This is what I'm working on. Hopefully all will be completed. The ratios will be the equil to these gear options.

25-35 stock MT gears

27-33

30-30 current version just a little higher then the buggy 29-31

33-27

35-25

I'm also working on a better cover option. Current version is on the small side.

Is there a high speed gear set for the mt?i want to get the obr fully mod 30.5monsterman edition motor, when I get my mt pro.

The current 1:1 ratio would be a top end ratio for the mt. I would not recommend any higher unless you down size the wheels/tires.

Interesting, My MT with a stroked 30.5 takes off very respectably.

I'd try 33-27 when available.
