Anyone race on really dusty/dirt tracks and found a starter that works better then others? Im tired of going through pull starts, i had an amazon ez start on my DBXL and it worked good but my fear was the little pawls and the springs, if they failed at the track i wouldnt be able to swap in a regular starter as id have to change the flywheel etc. But now on my 5T im finding regular pull starts just don't last no matter how much i blow em out.

I've had good luck with installing an outwrwears pullstart filter on the stock Zenoah pull start. In fact my whole engine is outfitted with every outerwears product available that helps keep debris out of the cooling system plus the air filter.
