@misterleon I agree on your concern, I had the blue hilantronics servo go out on me on the race and its frustrating. Honestly man get the agfrc servo as I can tell you it will handle that track fine just dial it back. I have a 5th scale size savox for my brakes and throttle for the 5ive but id say you don't need anything super crazy for brake throttle. Just my 2cents

I’m going with the Hitec 5765 for steering and Hitec 7955 for throttle. Should be a pretty mild setup and I can tune it back from there

got a new bumper made up. Im a really bad painter and can’t be bothered to paint match the rest of the body so this will do

Got it test fitted and good but need to cut the foam inner bumper before I mount it up permanently.

The Fg looks so much cleaner and easier to work on than the Mcd. The belt system really simplify the layout

Yea I wouldn’t look forward to taking it all apart for the first time. New cars are always intimidating

Got a shipment in from cardinal. The last two projects to prep for saturdays race. The foam bumper went on easily enough. Fg supplied bumper cut templates for every car they make except the rs5 so I had to eyeball it. The mielke big tornado exhaust was another disappointment. I have no luck with European pipes and this one was no different the exhaust header is way too close to the fuel tank, the expansion chamber comes out too far and hits the body and the most perplexing thing is that the stinger shoots directly onto the clutch housing. I got it to all fit with some man handling but I’m seriously pissed. Oh well it’s all ready. I’m sure this exhaust is gonna cause some wreckage this weekend

Yea I know but I’ve had similar issues with a samba pipe on my mcd. Seems like they all just suck so I rolled the dice
