I was out of the game for a bit but I just recently ordered the new 5t 2.0 v2. So now I have a little surf and turf action with 1 boat and the 5t now. I'll start a new build thread as I start modding it

I'll run a similar path to what my 1st one was but id like to end up as a big bore and possibly a hybrid. The combination I had the last go around was very fun but right now I'm playing it as money falls into my lap

I'm debating on the Taylor 35cc currently any input on it?
The guys that have them love them, not a bad word about them anywhere. I made the choice between a Taylor 35 and a onb reed ss. I went with the onb. Love it!

Thanks for that @Clubin I definitely will give it good thought. Thinking about it now I should have a realistic goal by having a big bore next year and for now I'll modify around the engine in preparation for a big bore and I'll go with an esp 34cc again as I've had good results with those engines.
why not try something new?

The 35 is sweet. Starts super easy even with running a choke less carb. Gobs of power! Looks sweet and Mike’s support of his products is amazing and evident with the thrust washer upgrade he sent out.

From the youtube vids I seen the ported 34's and the 35 are too close in performace but when Taylor releases the ported kits it's game over. Just then the question is how much for the ported kits? At that point it's probably more worth it to go larger bore.

Thanks monster and yea thats why I'm pondering at what's best and I'm not interested in buying an engine twice at the moment

Awesome little engine with some Taylor magic added, and for like 50usd or so you can get it anodised to make it your own
The other good thing is it bolts straight into anything, for any build down the track
