I'm running complete stock setup with stock radio. I can not for the life of me keep the brake cables from pulling free. The cable collars won't hold cable(causing no brakes). I set my end points on brake servo, but still won't hold. Any one have end point settings I can try for it not to pull cable out? Thanks in advance!!

You can double the collars if need be. You can set the collar close to where you want it mechanically and then use the cable adjuster and end points to dial it in. Ensure the collars are tight and use Loctite on the collar grub screw. Not all end points will be near the same based on where the person installed the collar and or where the adjuster is set.

Thanks for the reply. I've tried doubling up, loctite, tightened the grub. I've even replaced the cable incase it was too short but still pulling out. I've messed with end points but it either has no brakes or it pulls out. There us no in between. Very puzzling. I'll figure it out sooner than later, I hope! Lol. Definitely won't drive this one until I get brakes!! 80lbs will kill someone.

Can you post a pic for us to see what your working with? Maybe a visual for us will help get ya a solution. Sounds like your on the right track with what you have done. Have you tested the servo to make sure the issues isnt with the servo itself? We have seen a few bad servos from Primal.

I had issues with mine too and had to hold the collars with pliers while tightening the grub screw so I could really get it tight and then I had no more problems
Make sure you use a good Allen driver and not a cheap wrench so you can really tighten that sucker down

So I replaced both the cable and collars and it is holding now. Stupid weird!!!! Doubling up collars and using loctite and it looks like it's good now. Definitely have to use pliers to wrench the grub down. Spent a couple of runs to dial in the brakes. Satisfied with the adjustments.
Next up is replacing the shifting(reverse) servo. Gonna plug it to another vehicle to see if it's the servo or a wire issue. Getting no response on servo.
But thank u for the responses, much appreciated!!!!

Has anyone chewed through their brake pads rather quickly? I guess my rear brake piston seized up on me and I didn't notice that specifically; just that braking seemed to have faded, so I compensated by dialing in a bit more servo travel on the brake servo and within 1 run it absolutely destroyed my front brake pads, grinding the shape of the rotor into the pads 3/4 of the thickness of the pads.

Geez! A lot of power to stop these things.
