Breaks!! what are those lol. Have you tried adjusting the pressure on the spring at the post going to the disks. Make sure there is no binding/dirt debri in the mechanism as that may cause sluggish breaks also.
 
Get rid of the spring on the linkage and replace it with a piece of fuel line. The Redcat brakes rock. I can lock all four up.

I agree. I have 2 springs on the carb linkage side and a piece of nitro fuel tubing on the brake arm and I have a hard time NOT locking up all 4.

That Savox I linked is a bad female dog with 500oz of linkage twisting power.

Use a piece of fuel line in place of the spring. Make sure your end points are correct on the transmitter and your linkage is correct. Not really a good pic but you can see the piece of fuel line on the linkage.
