Fair enough. Whenever you do get a good one though, it wont perform well on nimh. I was really suprised at the difference it makes. The stock spektrum servo works better on lipo than the hitech on nimh. Im just to cheap to replace the 4 nimh I have that still work good. Perhaps I should just use all 4 in the tx instead of 1. Wouldnt need to charge for over a year probably.?

Supposedly LIFE batteries are safer than lipos, so I'm looking at those. I'd have to get a whole lipo/life setup tho, which is part of the reason I've never touched into that stuff.
 
? An ALX super 50 is $1850 without the pipe. A rcmax 50gt is $1795 with a pipe. An ALX Super 71 is $2500 without a pipe. A rcmax 71 Supreme is $2300 with the pipe. An ALX pipe is $320. What am I missing? Maybe those are the exceptions? And that's not even including shipping cause they are across the pond.

The alx comes with the pipe mate, alx is cheaper. Like I said, there's exceptions like the 50. All the engines on alx comes with a pipe

Ok. I didn't see that but now I do mate? But I just showed at least 1 other setup that's more than the rcmax. I didn't look at the rest.

I believe the 40 alx is more expensive than the RCMAX 40gt. Now, the 40gt comes with a zen sized clutch, alx comes with 70mm (or for another $100 , you can get you a 80mm), so that's something to consider. RCMAX you can update to a 62mm dual spring clutch for a bit more. I'd still get an RCMAX over an alx , for the reason that the coloring (maybe a petty reason idk) on RCMAX is better, you can get custom splash and fun stuff, oh also the RCMAX TI pipes , those are feking sick. So I like that
