I really can't thank you enough you been a great help. Especially finding out what motor an brand flywheel, it'll really help my search. You have a good one an hopefully we'll hear this thing run before too long. I'll talk to you soon, thanks again for everything

I missed that one mate
Just saw the pic and went searching.
When I added 45 to the search it came up with a heap of chainsaw flywheels.
Just a matter of finding the right one now.
At least we're getting somewhere. (y)

I haven't had much luck with finding the exact flywheel, you would think they'd still be floating around out there. It isn't all that old imo but it really is finding a needle in a haystack. I was wondering also, I don't know too much on how they work. But if I could find a flywheel with the internal rotor an cdi box that fit, do y'all know if it would work? I gotta do some reading on them an how they work but thought I'd ask. Also I believe I have the Dominator as in the pic below

Yeah thinking i might have to also, crazy how ya can't find them. I reached out to a guy on eBay that has a bunch of parts for them an a couple of the BG cars, seeing if he knows anywhere else I can try. Just waiting for a reply.. Idk I'd love to hear this motor run.. I was thinking if I can make a tapered sleeve to go on my cracked one, maybe close the crack I might have some luck 🤷 Idk I have seen some nice newer motors if worse comes to worse I guess

This will cost you, but it will be a 100% fix. Take the engine and flywheel to a machine shop. Get them to bore rhe calender of the flywheel and make a flanged sleeve to replace the tapered section. Remember the alignment of the key is crucial for ignition timing. Once this is done your issue is solved. Problem is, last time I checked the machine shop I used to work for charged $120.00 an hour for work like this, plus materials. Really it's a 1.5 -2hr job, but it will be the last time you have to worry about it. Also that (likely) cracked from someone making the flywheel too tight.

Hi Alll

Picked up a very used and old version of the above mentioned rc car, just wondering does anyone have pictures of where the fuel lines should run, im a little confused as to which line needs connecting to the carb also there is a fuel type outlet on the motor?!
also we are missing the cap for the fuel tank any ideas where a replacement might be sourced

thanks again!

Hey it does look similar, but I found a guy in Italy I been messaging I think the one he has is gonna work. I'm waiting on shipping price he doesn't want but like $60 for it so hopefully I'll have it going here soon. Thank you for your help again

Hey I'll send some pics of how mine is set up once I get home, maybe it'll help. You have any pics of yours, it'd be interesting to see. I'm new to these myself

Hey sorry just getting back, know it's been awhile. But I got this car running an it runs so good surprisingly. I ended up putting loctite on the Flywheel key an crank, tightened everything up enough to where it wasn't rubbing the crankcase. I've ran it probably a dozen times now an seems to be fine. I just put two new tires on it yesterday. I'll try getting a video today or tomorrow of it incase anyone is interested in hearing it. It really turns up, but I think I need a different gear as I'd like more top end. Does anyone know if the FG two speed setup will work on this car. It's really close or identical but I haven't measured the shafts an everything. But again I'd like to say thanks for everyone's input an being so nice
