I went ahead an pulled the carb, & insulator ,upon inspecting it ,don't see any damage however ,the carb gasket was wet
between the insulator & gasket ,that maybe an indication that it is leaking causing the hard starts & not too good of an
idle ,as I have to play with the throttle to keep it running ,no matter where the needles & idle screw is set!
The insulator is new an was on the engine ,so not warped ,however on further looking & thinking ,I am not sure if the little
hole on the gaskets are even lining up on the block ,insulator an carb.!
Also ,the gaskets are very thin an are hard ,I would think that you would want a little bit thicker an the material to be more
plyable or softer to seal good ,hell ,may as well just have no gasket at all!
I think that they need to be poop canned an find a better quality gasket set!.....
