With my G340 full mod should I run a WT990 or a WT1107? I’ve seen people say the 990 pumps more fuel and then I’ve seen other people say the 1107 pumps more. I honestly don’t know which to use at this point and don’t wanna waste money on a lower performance carb. So, what is y’all’s opinion on them?

The truth is they are basically the same carbs. The 1107 has a slightly larger venturi, but had a choke. Either or will work the same, with no real discernable performance edge noticable to the average user.

Either one will be fine. Do you want a choke or not ?
 
If you plan on running in sand a lot, I would recommend the 990 over the 1107 for the reason that it doesn't have the choke. One less infiltration point. Of course there are modded 1107s and 990s out there that seal up the shafts with a bearing, so my point would be moot if you went with one of those.

I've only ever run a 990 since 2010, so I'm kinda partial, but the 1107 is a great carb too.
 
Thanks again guys, forgot to also ask about the 813 with the accelerator pump. I’ve heard it’s basically a 990 but for drag racing and that it’s not well suited for bashing but I’m not sure
 
don't get me wrong. I think they are great, along with all of the other walbro models with accelerator pumps, but they are non serviceable. And when (not if) they crap out it's a boat anchor. So just not worth it, when an 1107 (or 990) will just keep on working with just a basic rebuild kit.
Yeah good point, I’ll probably go with a 1107 and might buy a sealed bearing upgraded 990 from DDM down the road
