Hi DC...I would use soft compond, like 15's as its cold out there..they only will only ware down fast if they go above there temp rating, also try punching in -30%exp on your stearing mate, should help alot..
Hope this helps?

yeah i already learned to close the lock on the steering for more precise steering otherwise it would be all over the place..

cool super, thanks man, must do some shoping for rubber lol

and more of todays(rest of todays vids on start of last page) sorry for moving them all around to new replys, photobucket is taking forever... lol

thanks kryptonite, lol yeah man no matter how big we want more, cant get a w.o.t full speed run yet..

what are they good for top end i wonder?
any idea?

what cars have you again man?
i love these machines..

so what did you say is the best choice of tyre then for wear and handling,i want something that wont wear out too fast,or not going to cost the earth either, any ideas?
i have a hobby-pro gt-40 wich is the same excact car as you have but diffrent gas tank and body. i like to run the pmt "eclipse" tires. they seem to get good wear and awsome traction. the higher the compound, the softer the tire. on the average i run #15. but when its really hot they will melt away, so its good to have a set of #10.. besides upgrades, tires will be your largest investment. its good your not in the habbit of drifting around. you'll blast thru a set of rears in one tank that way. i do warm up laps just like you. i heard someone say to "foot" the front bumper to warm up tires. they must have more money then us

OFF THE TOPIC!! i keep seeing small shots of your "whip". is that an acura? i just got done with my audi a6 and am starting on an 09 matrix xr this summer. wifey doesn't know yet, but rims and lowering kit are in the garage:clown:

hey krypton, yeah man its an integra dc2 type r,acura as you call them in the states, man i have my lifes savings thrown in to that thing, spoon ecu, mugen bodykit, induction kit, high lift cams, list goes on,i was trying to sell it recently but as no body was giving me the $ i wanted i kept it.with the downturn in economy nobody wants to pay up.

i love the hondas man had them for years..

i see your own car there its cool, yes they are similar alright,i must get some new tyres mine are wearing out on the back already lol

yeah man as you say a lot of fellas just keep the foot to bumper and smoke the tyres to heat them, waste of tyre if you ask me,that will cost in long run,the stock tyres this car came with are extremly soft compound, but high grip when hot, after two tanks the whole car was all burnt rubber dust lol

what would i expect to pay for a set?
how is the hobbypro doing?
what engine do you run.the 23cc with pipes are dam fast huh?

Hi dc , when i was buying tyres mate the higher the number the harder the compond but i did'nt run eclipse as these had only just come out and had bad reveiws from some of the FG and LB drivers but some did like them...I usd to run Kronos... I think you should get maybe 15s on back and 20s on front..

cool super.

im going to check out hobbythek's shop now and see what they stock, otherwise i will be shoping around, can a normal road tyre be got and not a slick, something with good grip but also with good quality, for non track use, just messing around?

didnt get a chance to check them out now but will tomorrow, cheers for info.
so what engines had you in yours super?
have you any onroad now?

what engine has the hod in his porsche?

cant wait to run this onroad again now..

going to run this machine all day saturday,i mean all day literlly..

i have found a new abandoned huge tarmac parking lot on a shut down chicken factory.

it is huge!!
cant wait...:2guns::clown:

Hi dc , i used to run an ODDIEFIED 23 mate, they were the best back then..
Don,t know what the.hod has in hes?

yeah man i have heard of the oddified engines supposed to be good too,23cc seem to be the choice engine for onroads, but they are quick with the tuned pipes and gearing,im actually amazied at the speed out of the thing....

roll on now tomorrow, will have more laps to do lol

yes they do rev higher due to smaller piston

anyway i have a set of kronos ordered from hobbythek and they come with rims, here is a link to them.

good price im getting four for a few spares, mounted and glued on rims, not bad eh? i wonder will these rims fit my carson?:)

funny cause i just ordered them with the presumtion they were for all 1/5th scales lol

New vids )

well i am just after getting back from my track now.....mmm well ok parking lot, huge parking lot, what a laug, some fun and i managed to get a few vids up my sleeve too lol

videos are in wrong order the one at the top is last vid lol
funny here on one of these vids i am driving minus one tyre lol

well one of my slicks gave up anyway shortly in to the running(as you will see in vid) so if you hear some noices it is the rubber well whats left of it,and litterly ripped itself from the rim,5 tanks it lasted of hard going, almost 4half hours driving.... lol i had good fun destroying that tyre though lol

it was one that came with the carson, very soft/cheap tyres to cut down overall cost.

here are few vids, great spot for running it..
