Oh my god!!

my god i love this car i am running it all day today, perfect! REALLY FAST as you will see from the next video i upload...

runs really well and easy to control due to the steering lock adjustment on my hitek transmittor,i can adjust the amount of lock and pressure to steering servo, real good adjustment as this helps to stiffen up front end making for easier controling, also shocks on all four ends are adjustable(and alloy) along with toe in camber/castor at the rear. good solid adjustments to be had.

it is awesome, stops instantly thanks to discs up front and rear l/shaft set up,a very good deal with these machines,i love them!!

here are some mighty vids from today.......mental!.:2guns:

(coming shortly along with ;lastnights updates above this)

That thing is hauling some butt. Nice deal so far huh?

that small lad is my girlfriends son madyson, loves the r/c's alright and loves giving me the helping hand when i am working on them to hide all my stuff

btb arnt they a great machine/deal for the price..

wicked fast man.

I got my son hooked by lowering the throttle on the TX to a crawl and letting him run with me. I slowly upped the throttle and then moved to a real big lot and it was there he learned how to run. So much fun having someone to run with, even if they are running at 5mph. The fun part is seeing there reaction to a flip or tumble. Kinda like seeing ourselves in a mirror.:clown:

GRAN TURSIMO style mad VIDS OF TODAY!

my god i had so much fun lads today, started off at nine o clock and went to an old shut down buisness park yard that is huge, its in my local town of newcastle west, was lovely and dry and those slicks heated up lovely,i ran wo warm up laps then increased speed to w.o.t throttle (but by no means reached full top speed),and had a cool down run to at the end, pure track car style, used some cones for the starting grid and got some huge speed from the car,HUGE FUN..this yard was huge but the car makes it look small because it has massive top end, don't know what speed exactly but im guessing really high.funny because when flat out this thing actually sounds like a bmw m3 or something lol

the car is a dream to run,(VERY FAST) 5 tanks of fuel today and not a bother,i love it, i would buy another one in the morning if finances allowed :)

i have a load of excellent vids from today but im going to just a few up for now(photobucket takes forever) let me know what ye think.

Yo Dc, looks like your getting the hang of on roads...If your finances would allow, i would invest in some pmt tyres at 15's for the cold weather and play about with your settings...toe in , camber toe out.. looks like the back end don't want to stick, also would benifit greatley from an ajustable cluch..
Hope you find this usefull....

super you are dead right my man,i needed to adjust the rear but never took my wrench today, either way i had a great days running man.

the slicks i use are wearing out at a rapid pace(awesome grip though) can a harder compound be had super?

Yes mate...if you go for pmt tyres they go up in celcius , so 15's are soft and 40's are hard....we put different ones on all corners depending on what track..left and right hand corners... just experement with it ...we put harder compond on front as your going round alot of bends when racing..
Hope this helped?

yes a big help, thank you...(love your new pipe man) very nice..

so who stocks these tyres then?
i know hobbythek stock them ,must give a look.

what you suggest there is prob what i would do anyway, experiment around, but what would you suggest for parking aeras like these, just normal tarmac?

it alsways seems as tho even the bigest lots are still not big enough!! have you found a place big enough to really open it up? i second the pmt's. you will see a 100% percent diffrence in handling.

thanks kryptonite, lol yeah man no matter how big we want more, cant get a w.o.t full speed run yet..

what are they good for top end i wonder?
any idea?

what cars have you again man?
i love these machines..

so what did you say is the best choice of tyre then for wear and handling,i want something that wont wear out too fast,or not going to cost the earth either, any ideas?

hello the hod

the carson comes with a tuned pipe and a solo 23cc engine(built by fg modelsport) it is super quick,im shocked, plenty poke now in fairness for where i will be running,i have a direct bold on 26cc if i want or 29cc either with 2mm stroker set up,i am going to leave it this way,im well happy with it.

i also run the raceported 27.2 2mmstroker in my fg,be intresting to see that mill in this lol

funny thing is i was going to get the porsche shell like yours first but said i would get the bmw then,it was cheaper lol

Hi DC , slicks are cheeper , but if you want it to stick to the tar mac then you need to get your tyres up to temp..so buy the temp rated tyres or bye a job lot off ebay and have a play first, see what you like , new tyres are very nice tho..lol...you could also buy a tyre cutter and make your tyres live for a lot longer..
Hope this helped?

thanks a lot man, great help for me because this is my first largescale onroad car lol

so what tyres do you reccomend for where i ran today then?

hello there

i like the build dc very good,so what have u in mind for the electrics wher r you goin to mount them now?may get an onroad myself
