I would say the tires are really gripping the road if it is causing the car to lean so much the body drags the ground!!! Imagine when it's hot outside, it's really going to stick then!! Cool car.. How are the tires wearing? Are you on your 3 set yet? :lol: You will be!!

yes grip is phenomenal man,these tyres are actually the third set lol

they last a long time though only when i drive this thing i actually drive the GUTS out of it lol

going excellent though,love it.

I wonder if you could make some adapters and run dual tires on the back like a tractor!!! I bet the tires would last longer :lol:

must hit max speeds now tomorrow with this machine,i reckon im not still hiting full top end tune with her it seems there is a lot more in it.

If it could spin that big of a tire, damn I bet it could do 100mph!!! It would just take 2 days to do it!! I would have put the little tires on the Beetle, I bet you could tear those up in a hurry, it might help with the low end bog???

the onroad will not fit the beetle because of the hydro calipers.

maybe i might take them off and run it and see man that thing will be crazy.....

in my marder I didn't have any quarter servos when it arrived, so I made a plate to fit over the hole, screwed it to the servo mounts and used a couple hitec 645's for the steering. it worked great other than the 645's are a bit slow.. I probably still have a pic somewhere...

hey pipeous i have done the very same thing lol as a tempory job,i used body mounts to make the distance and screwed the servo down through them.

workrd perfect...

i must see how the t-max traxxas servo holds up today now lol..

i disconnected front brake to take pressure off it whilst braking i am depending on rears now today.

NEED FOR SPEED round #3.

ran the car this morning for almost 3 hours,over three tanks,was a fab day with some sun shining through,this car is bulletproff.

little tip from me for anybody buying one of these,you need a huge aera to run,upgrade to alloy diff and diff mounts,steel clutch pinion,two good servos,good radio gear,fg fron hubbs,good decent tyres like mine(fg dtm) and you got your self a bulletproff machine..

drove the living guts out of it today and my rear tyres are already wearing nicely lol

the solo engines rev for ever,they run like a dream.

I am jealous... this weekend was going to be our second outing. I get up early and it's raining buckets grrr... oh well, I will install my picco switch today and finish painting the last room, at least I can come and watch your videos to get the feeling somewhat hehe

the carson came with a solo? awesome. I have the old german solos in both of mine and they scream... serial numbers show they were made 166 engines apart..

hey pipeous man good to hear you got a pico,good investment,i too am getting one of them or two of them actually.so what fg cars have you,are you still running them? they like there tyres don't they lol

yes the solo is a right little jem all the same,lots of potential for speed...revs forever,it is such a well built engine,runs so smooth.....

i have aprox 9 tanks of fuel with no problems thank god and first day spark plug that came with it...

hey waqr man i have aprox over 9 tanks of excellent awesome fun had with this machine and my fourth set of tyres (third set of fronts) original first day plug still in the car that came with it....

love this machine....

yes i have lots more upgrades planed for it,my 30th brthday in may and my girlfriend is getting my an upgraded engine and all blue anodised alloy parts (complete car) will be very nice......some carbon also but i will say i will upload pics when they come but no part will be used untill completly reqired and the others completly worn out,i want to test this to the limit!!

update.

thanks to the good super 654 i have just learned that i can gain more power very easy.

by leaning my fuel mixture..

i have been running my two machines at 150mill of oil to 5liters of fuel

now i can cut that back to 100mill -125mill to 5 liters.

thats means more POWER..:2guns:

I have both fg's. The Semi is really cool. Tires use the same rims as buggy tires, with extensions for the rear. They have more meat so are seeming to last pretty good. The ones on the car you can see the belts through lol.. got a set of pmt's coming and should be here this week. I am just working on the car right now. Traded my Redcat buggy for it. And traded the mt body, wheels etc for a tuned pipe for the semi... It had a lot of power and like to eat parts... once I started running on road, I was going to just trade off the mt tires and was offered this car for my buggy... sold

I run 25-1 in my rc's, 40-1 in my leaf blower... unmixed in my pressure washer. 3 bloody gas cans so had to start marking them so I grabbed the right one.

I am going out tomorrow even if it's raining a bit. I ran the mt in mud and snow so a little raain won't hurt anything, just make driving interesting. Well it's 1:30 am and I either have to hit the store for more smokes or go to sleep, and the fg is sitting on it's side in the living room. I got a pre wired pb kill switch but the old solos don't have the same plugs on the magneto, so looks like I have to cut and solder this one as well... might as well gotten the cheapo like my other ones lol... I won't run without one. I was tuning a friends baja outside in my townhouse complex. throttle linkage stuck... had to fix a garage door... I ordered 2 piccos for mine right there. I had my picco for the new fg before it arrived lol

it's still pretty early here for outdoor rc (snow and rain mix supposed to be tomorrow...)

the fg onroads are very nice man i presume we run same solo engines so?23cc?

i stayed up late lastnight rewiring a homemade power switch on the car as my own was gone a little faulty,these are distastrous when they give trouble,they could cause a runaway very fast as the power to the car dissappears completly, and at the point of power loss throttle can be either at a wot position or hopefully shut,scary stuff when it does happen.

switches like them shouldnt come faulty,anyway i bypassed switch lastnight and made a homemade connector coming from battery whilst sipping on my bottle of miller lol

threw on another new set of rears lastnight and checked everything thouroughly,i had a snapped engine mount screw underneth the chassis so i had to redrill through and put in a new bolt.also from all the flat out runs i had a chassis mounting bolt break it self loose also on my fuel tank so a few large zip/cable ties done the job lovely.

so other than these very minor mishaps she is spot on,and that was 3full tanks flat yesterday as you can see on the videos....

going to take it out again today and hopefully get some vids up if i be nice to the girlfriend.
