CY has a bigger opening for the cylinder transfer ports on the case and bigger transfer ports in the cylinder. Not saying this is a big deal.

yea they are a tiny bit bigger, but dzy motors have bigger ports than both, c,ys allways perform very well but some motors just don,t last long, you pay for wot you get with motors, my next one is a 29, 4 bolt zen

you guys do realize that this topic is like beating a dead horse. since this topic has been argued more times then most of us can count there will never be a winner cause there are diehard zen fans and diehard cy fans. i've had zen's and cy's and the only problem i've ever had is a piss poor porting job on a headkit i ordered once and all i did was touch it up and i still haven't had a problem with it even after about 12 tanks through it, so who do i root for? i think its just who ever you've had better luck with.

i don't give a poop tbh... cy coped zen so what but KM coped HPI thats a bigger deal
in my books....

But without your clone engine your genuine HPI would not work.....unless you pushed it around the park making brum brummm noises :lol::lol::lol:

No danger of plating coming off that CY you sold me - its still on the shelf :p:p

dzy are fitted in a lot of clone buggys i ran one for 12months without any problems i,ll try,n find you a link,

would those be the motors with 3 bolt heads? i had a clone firehammer once that i bought used and the motor had a 3 bolts head. never could figure out what make motor it was.

I know the Red Cats run HY (Hong Yang or Hung Yang) motors. I have not been able to find a web site on these motors. I have read a lot of the clone motors other then CY LOL do not have Walbro carbs and some have had problems with the carbs.

looks like chung yang. same set up as hpi fuelie motor

Yep HPI motors are made by CY. The only difference I have found the HPI motors run a .75mm ring and all the others run a 1mm. The HPI .75 ring is $15 where you can get most rings for around $8. I needed a ring and bought the whole HPI piston kit down to the wrist pin bearing off eBay for $15.

both motors are not of the same exact quality the zenoah has more quality control i believe
