Check your bearing supporting the clutch bell, I had one go on my MCD and with a slipper clutch like my Elcon I have fitted the clutch bell was blue. Changed out the bearing/s and re adjusted the clutch biting point and no worries since and this is on a high power motor.

I got my 8k springs in today. The old spring was the problem. It was worn out. I install the clutch backwards like alot of yal do. WOW is what I have to say about the 8k spring. The truck has tons of take off. Tires just spin like crazy. No wheelies. I don't think the 16/48 gears would do any good with this motor. I think I'm going to leave the 18/46
