just stock engines- pipe and carb- velocity stack- and a few other homemade mods.- f-270, hy 30.5, cy 29- love the cy 29- its the way it pulls @ lower rpm-s. have a bunch of parts to keep these guys running for quite a while. question? has this clutch part broken before- the stock factory part? just wondering- do you run on dirt or asphalt most of the time?- i ask you this because - you have a hot obr engine- with a high rpm spring.- no idea if this is a factor- when the hot rod engine reves up enough to lock up the clutch on high traction surfaces- it could be stressing the part beyond its limit?- just a guess-- frankly, i would think that a dog bone- or some other place in the drive train would break first- but who knows huh?- perhaps others can post there thoughts on this problem and help you resolve.- these are spendy parts to break---
