Clutch upgrade/replacement help

So I’ve had my first mishap with my new Losi I’ve had it for about a month and didn’t install a kill switch…

Long story short I lost signal and crashed it and burned up the clutch. I was surprised that nothing else broke. But I need help deciding what clutch to go with. Do I just put a stock clutch or is there something a bit better.

Mods so far is just bartolone tuned pipe and thinking on doing a 21T gear with a vertigo open clutch carrier. Kill switch on the way as well

What all is required to run that? That’s what I was leaning on sounds like that with a 8,000rpm spring is the move.

I got confused with the washers and shims can I just run the steel clutch and that’s it or do I need special hardware

You absolutely need the washers otherwise the clutch won't pivot properly.

ok one last question before I order do I need to change the clutch plate to a 54mm one then as well? Or is the zenoah clutch replacement kit all I need

All small bore clutches are 54mm, it's a direct swap. Also the hardware does matter in choice as you have a Cy style Clutch which would be found on your generation and the zenoah style Clutch hardware will be found on a 2.0.
