guys. I have the first problem. I probably can't use the original hpi linkage. i tried to bend it .. it is impossible to put it on the carburettor. there is too little space between the tank and the carburetor. will another linkage solve it?

Not sure about this, but, as a last resort, the first thing that popped to mind was heat and mold/dent the plastic tank. Pretty tricky to do just right. It is possible

hello . I did a few things on baja today . the new detroit linkage from taylor did not fit . i had to heat my tank with a heat gun to make clearance . works fine now ) it looks ugly, but it works

Seems strange it wouldn't fit, at least you got it to fit. Hope that engine lives up to its hype, described as at least as powerful or more than any ported 34cc. I bet its more!

I don't know why it doesn't fit. mike taylor assured me that it will fit 100% wit new t35 reed .because they said they tested it on the hpi baja 5b .. so I think it was rovan not hpi .. maybe the hpi has a bigger tank (I don't know for sure). guys who have both an hpi and a rovan tank. please tell me how it is

the first short test taylor 35 cc on grass. stock carb rich set..19/55 gears, for now . maybe I expected a little more . but, it is a stronger engine than the OBR reed. I can confirm that now.
