im trying to get ahold of them to order my top end but I'm just getting the answering machine since yesterday...anyone else have an issue?

poopy customer service. Seems to be the norm now. They take our money with no after sales service.

Nah, fact is people cant stand by the phones all day to answer piddly questions for 20 minutes just to have someone say ok thanks. That will happen 90% of the time and isnt worth the hassle with all the resources people have now.

DDM, detroit performance, rcmax, trackday hobbies, all have great customer service. Most of these guys email is best and fastest.

@John Parks I called DDM for 3 days trying to get my credit for the top end....if you own a business and sell products you have an obligation to answer the phones for your customers...so i disagree...its called hire someone that their job title is answer this phone

You realise most of these guys run a business out of their garage and cant hire people for just whatever you think is needed. Yes they may not answer your phone call, but if you would have emailed them from the get go your issue would have been taken care of likely before the first days end. Yes it's nice to call someone once in awhile but these people have lives and fulltime jobs on top of manufacturing and trying to run a business.

One of these is a building they rent or whatever the case is...so it's not small.. customer satisfaction is in their website so there's no argument for not answering the phone. And last they encouraged calling them...sooooo? I have no issue with them they flat out understood my issue and worked with me20201030_191755.jpg20201030_191826.jpgbuilding.jpg

I've had the displeasure of talking to Track Day twice. That was more than enough for me. At least DDM is pleasant when they do answer the phone. And John is awesome to talk to as well.

Absolutely DDM is great to deal with when they answer the phone and emails as well. I guess my point to the thread was to see if anyone had similar issues..as usual it gets a little beyond the point of the threads question lol

I have called DDM maybe fifteen times and never ever got someone to answer the phone.I do agree with John though most of the time it is a waste of time.I have owned my own businesses in the past so I speak from experience.I spoke with Detroit on the phone I believe his name was John and he talked to me for almost thirty minutes just explaining and answering my questions so moving forward they get my business.I will be ordering my motor wheels and chassis from them.

All these guys answer my Facebook messages, emails, and I've only called ddm a few times to add to my order or make a change and either Steve or some girl answered the phone and the customer service has been great. I just called and talked to Steve last week for my baja part order. He answered, asked if all has been well, found my order which was already packaged to be overnighted, and added $40 worth of parts to my overnight package. No problem with me when it comes to ddm?? Emails are the way I usually communicate tho and they are the best.

When I said it was a waste of time I meant for DDM or any internet business to answer hundreds of calls daily.DDM is a good company to order from but I personally don't really like them too much. They are very dependable though I must admit so my dislike is just my personal issues with them.
