Do I need to remove the head or something to get to the decompression valve. Mine needs to be tightened bit none of my sockets will fit in between the fins. Rcmax 65cc.

Probably not. I think Mike said it's a 1/2" size socked
Thought about blanking it and fitting the upgraded pull start string buddy? That's what Mike says you can do now

I never heard of a decompression valve on these engines, I know some motor bikes have them to restart the engine once hot as I makes it easier to kick start, and tractors have them for a cold start morning or if your battery is low. When do you ever open it up crucialRC?

Whenever you pull the pull start. Push in valve, then pull cord. The valve will pop out on it's own.
