spoke to our tyre guy this afternoon and hes said as long as we give him some form of letter to say how we intend to use them (legal reasons on his part) we can have as many as we need

Certainly did,started from the TX it flew real sweet, so stable and sounded like heli's should.

Paul - astro turf is a good idea, this is what the majority of the track in the nationals use.

Jackobyte - Parking close to the area we run will be worked out depending on where we can build the track etc. but we should get close.

Charlie/Pete - glad your both in. Charlie not sure if tyres are a good thing they wreck 5th scales. These are th things we need to decide on as a group but keep up the good work as you never know.

If any of the guys on the UK Baja Forum are interested let them know.

had 2 replies about the astroturf, 1st one said they had old stuff but wanted £3.00 square meter:lol::lol:mg:and the 2nd said no.....
so come saturday i will make some phone calls instead of e-mails then hope for the best....

i don't mine tyres on the straights of the track and then the pipe for the corners....
tyres we can get for nothing where the pipe we would need to buy.

approx. 15 but i think the UK baja forum has a couple that I don't know so with a fair wind we can get past 20.

thats not a bad price... we might be able to get that stuff from the guy who did the old pipe up.....

i used to be a ground worker so used to fit land drain pipe its ok under ground with soil and earth on top of it, but trying to straigten it on land it just wants to recoil .
