Cardinal racing should sell FG parts or be able to order any you need if they don't regularly sell them.

Message them about it. They may not be something he maintains stock of and has them drop shipped from FG.
Does any other brand shock work like mcd? Sucks getting specialty parts custom ordered from tarrifed countrys. Taylor rc for example extra $25 for $250 olimat pipes. Thought the American customer wasnt supposed to pay the tariff the seller did? Idk lol i didnt bother to vote so cant complain

Most of them are going to be european or chinese knockoffs. Cardinal's products shouldn't have any tariffs attached.

Tariffs are complex and at the end of the day you pay for it with the increased prices.

They just have "comming soon" for all fg shock parts

Most of the "coming soon" items tend to be things you'll have to reach out and ask for in my experience. With that said, if they are available, Cardinal is happy to order them in for you. He tends to be a bit optimistic with his timelines though, so "a week or so" could end up being a month in my experience.

All tarrifs are paid by the customer, NOT the seller. It's a raw deal for the consumer, who ultimately is "punished" if they choose to support a non-local company/product.

Well I expect you know how to vote next time then.
Your man is busy pissing the rest of the world off, not just the ones who deserve it .
This doesn't help and is just accusatory.

If someone wants to have a discussion about tariffs I don't think a R/C forum is the place to do it but a simple explanation of the issue is better than that.

Tariffs are a way to tax the poorer consumers. They don't incentivize anyone to bring jobs back or people to magically buy products that haven't been made in country in decades. If they were designed to bring work back they would target corporations that outsourced the work in the first place. China didn't steal anything. Infinite profit growth did. When they go away prices will stay the same. Just like every other time a tariff has been introduced and retracted.
