Nope, saw just showed up last week. Sat in NY for 2 weeks. Even called and went mental on the post office. Nothing they could do. At least I got out of import fees, since it was for parts/not working.

Same. Customs is customs. I even paid extra for shipping to have it aired via Canadian post. If I knew what I know now, should have shipped it normal priority post and saved some on shipping

I ordered some stuff from the UK. I thought everything was fine until received a message from the company stating: Unfortunately we cannot ship item out because there are no flights going out to get to new York. We asked when were flights going to resume and we were told " No one knows"
There weren't any current plans for the time being.
Shite Shite Shite !!!
There's some good deals I can't get,Fekken Rona!!.

@Z.hb71
You need to get it from the shipper. Canada post wont send it to you. The guy I got my saw from, I've bought from before, so he knows to email me the tracking number, and puts enough insurance on it to cover me if anything happens in transit. It used to be a 5 day trip from Ontario to Pa.
@Striikar
You can check on the USPS sight to see where they are accepting shipments from. Or get the guy to DHL, or (god forbid) UPS through a broker ($$$$$)

I did, I asked for it but he said Canada Post didn't give him one.
He gave me the order/shipping sheet from Canada post,but it doesn't have a number on it. So I don't think I was scammed

No, he didnt get the right post type then. Only specific types of post get tracking numbers and insurance from canada to the us. I'll look it up here for you.
Here's a link to the fact sheet.

Ok, well it says tracking info isn't available for small items , international or not. And mine is small. So , no tracking ?

Funny, the UK isnt on the list for no shipments

It just depends on how he sent it. I'd not get anything sent with out upgrading to tracking for international shipments. Got burned a few years ago on a shipment from China. Never got it, seller claimed he sent it... blah blah blah. And usps was no fricken help at all. Lesson learned. Just wait till you buy something and get a nasty gram in the mail, that you owe a tariff and taxes on something and have to go to the post to pay and pick it up.
