I was still back in south Africa and after negotiations I was left with two choices 1: send it back for a rebuild or 2: Sean would send me the parts ( crank new gaskets new ) ? so I went with the second choice??had it sent here to my new address ? then I was without my twin until my stuff arrived ?

Had a bit of a head scratcher ? took off the coils and pull start to find thisView attachment 58009
It's the pawl on the end of the crank?

Turns out the plug spanner is just the right tool??
But this leads me to a new hitch my flywheel pull is too small to pull off the flywheel ?? so I'll have to work a plan and make a new one??

That is an interesting pawl ? whendyou expect to be back running may I ask?

I could have told you the plug spanner fitted the pawl.
I can't quite remember how I got the flywheel off though, maybe I used the alx clutch tool??

Cant you just make a flywheel puller from a small block of steel and 3 bolts?

It will. I made my flywheel puller. Works great and was under $2

Ok so the first puller failed coz the steel was too soft? but I made a new plan with an IRC shock tool for a puller and it worked a treat???

Just realized it has one piece rods and the crank needs pressed apart and back together to swap rods?

Looks like she will be down for some time. This is exactly why you should have more than 1 RC?? Time to pull out the 5ive B bruh.
