I had a couple snap exactly like yours did in the picture you posted. Here is a pic of what my outdrive looked like after just a couple of tanks:

Now that I've seen. I purchased a set of DTX outdrives and a couple tanks later I sent DTX an email with what you see in the above post and they sent me another set.
My FG's are much harder or something?
Those are the ones.
Do yours feel like they are binding in the outdrive cups (inner and outer)?
If I go with these with my FG diff, will I need to rebuild the diff as the inner cogs are a different size and I guess these are for the Carson/Smartech diff.
Good news, had a mail from Tower they are sending out a replacement set. What can I say other than great customer service keep it up Tower. :clap:
If you have all FG gears, you should go with the FG Ball Drive kit. Don't change your gears back to smartech/carson gears.

I believe the one in the link would be the one you would need. Hopefully someone will chime in (hellya?) that will know for absolutely certain on the above.
