no we actually adjusted the HI mixture screw it had a t-handle on it , then adjusted to about 1100 deg F
 
A good idea, but unlike kart engines (I did some "Stock Moto" club racing back in the early 2000's ) . You're never going to really achieve peak sustained rpm's in a 1/5 basher RC as you would in a kart. The whole point of EGT's is NOT so much about observing the "peak" EGT temps , but more watching out for spike increases or decreases in the EGT temps. I had a Mychron on my CRG stock moto and it was a GREAT tool to help fine tune your jetting.
