I have been dealing with this for a while, servo works fine, carb seems ok, tuning ok too, engine is new, spark plug cool, but when Im at wot the engine reaches peak rpm briefly and half a second later it lowers rpm like I was half throttle, no bogging, no weird sounds just loses power noticeably…
I grab the car with my hands like an angry chihuahua, wot, and does the same thing.
It is a baja with tuned pipe, the engine uses a walbro 1107 carb.
Any ideas?

What engine do you have?
Is it a name brand engine/carb or a rovan/km clone?
The clone engines are not the best quality especially the carbs on them
It could be an air leak somewhere
I’d richen the high speed needle on the carb and see if if improves
Make sure intake and carb bolts are tight
Also check to make sure the air filter is not over oiled and too restrictive

Oke, thanks everyone, it just was the air filter outterwears, was covered with a thick layer of mud inside, futhermore I realized that the fabric is almost airtight it doesn't allow air to pass through… I removed it, and now it works.
Wish all the issues were like that
