Just depends on what you want to spend/ if anything is really wrong. The ring is a must, plus the piston bearing and thrust washers and pin clips. If the piston is good no reason to replace that. If the cylinder is good no reason not to port that, I mean no reason to replace that. But if you want the bigger cc then get a kit, it will have everything you need. (Or should at any rate)
