can someone tell why anyone would design a exhaust,
with a reputable name Victory RC
With a header that you easily bolt on , but the design is a joke
yeah u can use pre bolts that you put a nut after, and you would
have red thread lock them in which will cause future problems
is you wanna swop something out , or am I wrong
Any tips or mods
other than another header which would be almost impossible cos of bend
Its the internal bend its just a bad designIMG_6308.JPG

I haven't had much trouble with my victory headers, I did trim a hex key for the job, but if you tighten the front bolt first the task isn't too bad.

This kit fixes the issue.
The way the wire gets threaded over/under, these cant back out.

From Matt Olsen Designs

Or

From DDM

Or

From Largescalerc.com

The Victory RC 32cc rear mount tuned pipe for the 5ive T has the same bend. The MIP kit is the only one that worked for me, all the time.

appreciate you looking for me and pic to look at
im not getting the wire
you mean like a figure of eight
complete respect to you for info thank you
regardless of that if thats still being made its a joke
and whats the exhaust end about blowing straight to
right wheel and lower arm covering in crap from exhaust
instead angled into the ground or slightly facing
backwards
just simple observations which is fair
if id known then what y know now I wouldn't of spent
£220 from a company thats not trading in uk anymore I think
but its the maker not the shop

the nuts got holes in for wire end ?
or am I seeing things

ok yea checked them I see whats going on now

cheers

No joke what your looking at is Safty wire locking the nuts so they can't back off . Used in Auto and Motorcycle racing also this is done on Airplanes and Jets. Last thing you want is parts coming off while racing or flying don't you think? If you looked at the pictures in the third link I think it is you can see how its done . I'll be doing this to my BAJA now that I know what I need . Every time I run my BAJA I have to tighten the header bolts . This last time they were very loose and I loctite them too.

appreciate that info ,looked at the sites seems easy enough
another expense but 1 of the cheaper so another order will have to
be made, but not ddm the customs cost to get from post office here is insane
cos its done in weight so more u buy the more you pay in custom charges
a month ago I ordered some gear from ddm about £80 worth cost me
another £48 in custom chargers, ive ordered from china parts for mtb,
heavy gear no custom charge just delivery , same thing turtle racing
insane charges

The Jetpro rear mount on the Dune Runner is the same but at least it exits at the rear.
Only way to tighten it is to cut a hex key to fit.

the angle of the is so acute that once the bolt is in
there literally is no room to get anything in
as pic shows the right hand side is a different bolt
so I can use an open ended spanner
as recommended I think the MIP kit is way ahead
for this problem

It may be way ahead, but since as long as i've had it installed I haven't had to tighten either of them. I've tried several other things to try and keep them from backing out...especially the one in the front. None have worked EXCEPT for the MIP kit. Its one thing i don't have think or worry about anymore....so much so that i actually FORGOT what kit i had installed(thanks dougstar).

yea you know that s--t
since freepwawnracing went they used sell stuff that ddm did
now they gone its hard to get from other places
don't get me wrong the uk market is good so
too lose 1 is a shame more we got the better
like you said custom f---ers
