EVO build ESC wiring

Hey. Got a question for ya guys. I'm going to be putting new connectors on my newly bought EVO. Not a fan of the XT90. I bought some EC5 but we're not big enough so I ordered some EC8. While I was staring at it. I was wondering if I should only have 1 connector coming off the ESC and using a jumper to go 8s or leave it like it is. Here is a pic thanks for all your input!

Nah I wouldn't use a splitter. it's just more connections and it's just not needed.

The one looks like it might be "cold joint".

Oh yeah. They are terrible. The guy I bought it from didn't know how to solder for sure. I'm going thru it all make sure everything is good in on it.

I had to post the pic after I cut off the rest of the shrinkwrap. I hope you all get a good laugh. He was a nice guy. But sure couldn't solder. LOL thanks Facebook marketplace.......
