International Scout? Brake line is a great idea. Never thought of that.I know its not much. I'm making my first roll bar out of brake line for a crawler project.
Yes it is..redcat gen 9 scout 800International Scout? Brake line is a great idea. Never thought of that.
I’d love to see some of this stuff. I just completed a fully 3d printed conversion for the 30DNB I would like to post up too if there’s a forum for it.Honestly, can we get a dedicated forum to Fabrication/3D Prints?
I've had a blast over the last 6 months modeling and printing various 3D parts for my collection (5ive T, 5ive B, 30DNB.) I will probably post once I have more screens of the various combos, but I have:
Chassis Bases:
Components for those bases:
- Driver front base using chassis holes (A)
- Driver rear base using side guard screws (B)
- Passenger rear base using chassis holes (C)
- Passenger mid base using side guard screws (D)
This allows for a lot of various combinations depending on how you want to config your rig.
- Long (190mm) battery tray that can go A, B, or C
- Short (152mm) double battery strays that can go A or C (this allows for 16s, I have that build to show soon lol)
- ESC plate that supports Castle and Hobbywing screw holes that can go A, B, C or D
And these other components:
I've also spent a ton of time with various engineering filaments to find ones strong enough for RC impacts and pretty perfect prints; and I would love to share that knowledge with people who are into this side of the hobby.
- Steering servo and RX box
- Center diff brace and ESC plate for elevated ESCs
- Dual Fan mount that connects to elevated brace
- Dual Fan mount that connects to stock center diff brake holes
- Wing adapter so that a 5ive B wing mount fits on the 5ive T shock tower
- Shock tower mounts that allow for a long center bar
- 30 Degree North Buggy center diff conversion plate
