Hi

Thanks for the advise. Can you please tell me which gears are you refering to ? The manual is not so great and I am glad I am posting here.

Also, if I put the servo in center, Should I be able to use both linkages going to steering ?

The one on the clucth and the spur gear next to the clucth.

Haha

His plan was to use that wrench as hammer but upon my promise to do better, he hid it. :D

Hydro lines installed today. I also put some servo wire saves over the hydro lines.. Pictures coming tonight

thats one good thing i like bout the fg, that you gotta build it. when i bought my baja 5b and firehammer they came pre built... i would much rather buy a kit n build it up.

Issue: The rollcage bar near the gas tank cap actually hits the cap. I tried to trim the plastic but it is a challange keeping it away from the cap . Any pointers ? :(

That’s odd, perhaps they made a slight changed the mold on the gas tank? I would say just slide the take over a bit, but with the way it is set up I don’t think that is possible. Maybe the holes for the roll bar of off slightly, is the roll bar centered between the master cylinders? The only other thing I can think of at the moment is that something is pushing the roll bar into the gas cap, perhaps the pipe is pushing on the cage? Let us know how it goes.

Cylinder

Cylinders are even both sides and exhaust is clear. :( it seems a little wider to me or the gas tank is little different. I am reluctant to drill new holes may be I will just live with it

I looked over the manual and I think you might have the tank mount (this is the plate the gas tank mounts to) the wrong way. I believe there is a short side and a long side and the long side needs to go on the side with the gas cap. This is probably why the gas cap is hitting the roll cage. Check out step 7 in the tank mounting instructions, also in the diagram you will see there is an arrow showing the correct orientation of the tank mount. Hopefully that is the issue, it will be an easy fix.

I think you are right about the gas tank mounts. The distance of the holes are the same and FG hasn't made a different version of that gas tank for many, many years. Easy enough to remove and switch before it's more difficult to do so.
