I will open the tank mounts tonight. Another issue I had was that the front A-Arm (Wishbone) lost those plastic spacer while doing a test run from the suspension pin , Now the arm has almost 1/4 inch of play . Is there anything better than those plastic spacers which pop out :(

If you are not worried about adjustments, I don’t see why you couldn’t just use washers/shims in place of the plastic spacers. I use the plastic spacers and I haven’t had any pop out yet, I am sure now that I have said that I will loose them next time I run my Baja.:)

Thanks

I might just use shims. That sounds like better idea.

Another question. Are there any pipes out there which are quiter than FG. I ran the car in street and boy ! it was noisy. I know it is quiter than most but I was wondering if there is anything out there which is further suppressed.

I posted this on another thread but I guess not many know about anything that exists

The FG pipe is fairly quite compared to some others I have tried. The quietist pipes I have used are the Sambas. I currently use a Samba pipe on my FG and it is quieter than the FG pipe that came with my kit, but it is not silent and they aren’t cheap. I read somewhere if you add some tubing to the exhaust exit it helps muffle the sound, you might want to give that a try and see if it helps.

Pwaicon. Thanks for the tip. I had the tank holding plate in wrong position. Once I swapped it, I too have clearence.
