Whats a good overall gear ratio for the track its a fg evo 08 ? has a race ported 23cc

ATM it has 23/39 but im not able to try it cause they're worn out and im in the middle of rebuilding the complete car and i don't want to buy the wrong ratio

are you racing the car? if so, id get a selection of pinions and spur gears so you can match them to your track. i myself have 24, 25 and 26 tooth pinions, 41, 40 and 39 tooth spurs.

if you bashing in a parking lot, get whatever, cant really go wrong.

Will be doing some track racing and yes i will get a good selection of gears thanks

Do you run the plastic spur gears or metal ?

Deffo plastic spur on a touring car allong with alloy clutch bell gear. There is also a lightened 50t diff gear just to save the extra few ounces.

Thanks mike im running a alloy pinion drive gear already:)
