I have an old fg monster with leaky fuel lines. It has a soft black tube witch seems to be the inlet tube (connects to the bottom of the carb) and a harder yellow one that is the overflow tube (connected next to primer bulb) . This seems completely counterintuitive for me. Is there something I'm missing? And all the pictures of the Modell have the same setup. And can I use the same hard tubing for both of them, or is there a purpose with a soft inlet tube?

You can use anything you want as long its ment for gas " tygon" fuel line....the black line is the feed and the yellow is the purge line its getting fuel up to the carb and the yellow is just venting the bubbles back to the tank to help clear the air out of the feed line

Use Tygon 6mm (1/4 inch)
You can pick your own colours.
I don't use black so I can see what's going on in both lines.
