How the F does this happen?

Was running the car and steering locked up. Servo arm was rotated way pass the end point with he servo savor fully engaged and rotated on the other side.

Found that switched burned up. Not sure if this caused the issue but the servo is toast. Heim joint got bent also.

Sending the servo back to horizon so they can repair it or send me a new one because I ain't spending $230 on a new servo.

Always something with this female dog...

switch is prob just a simple mishap... see what happened to the one on my esc?

Switch still works and delivers power to other stuff like the throttle and kill switch but it doesn't turn off. Soldering was fine on it.

The lock nut was tight and never came loose as I also apply locktite on them.

I believe the issue was when I was tossing the car around specially with the grippy spike tires the steering over extended and the servo savor spring was not tight enough and the arm extended way too much damaging the servo and shorting the switch.

I am going to tighten savor spring back up so this doesn't happen. I might even install the top aluminum servo savor piece as I am running a half plastic/aluminum.

Not sure then man I've had vibration and loctite issues with the link and my servo screws all backed out on me fully extended my steering link and jammed the steering linkage fully to the right. Alk stemmed back to fails from installation. That servo saver is supposed to have a 5mm gap from bottom of nut to saver. You have some serious throw or something going on there as well with your setup, irp links?..your heim should not be cranked out that far. When you set this up did you pull the servo arm, set everything to zero on tx, turn on and reset servo and replace arm. But maybe it did spin around on the saver🤷🏻‍♂️..Definitely not tight lookin

Anyone know how much I can sell my rcmax samba pipe? It is in excellent condition.

Get the 24/17 for fastest top speed available(refer to Hari or my thread to grind the lip on your trans for the gear to clear) if you decide to do so. I also installed my gear backwards at first. Wheelies all fekin day with gobs of torque 🤣..23/18 should be very fast too. I believe Hari also posted in my thread someone's top speed recordings with available gears.👍
