Just picked up my first 1/5 scale last month. Been loving every second of it.

First parts installed:

Switched out the spectrum receiver and replaced with a Futaba to go with a 4px remote.
DDM 7000 2s lipo
iKilly2 kill switch
Modified RC billet diff housing
Vertigo Monster locker spool
Vertigo clutch carrier
Full force high flow fuel kit
TaylorRC chassis braces
Full force shock covers
DDM vented gas cap
AGFRC steering servo (huge difference over stock)
Bartolone 340 case reed
Rooster fullmod 1107
OBR v stack
TaylorRC v2 easy pull start
FS metal clutch with 8k spring
VRC replica pipe (Olimat 34 pipe on the way)
30N body for bashing
Carbon number plates
DIY spoiler (Made from scrap metal)
Axis kage keepers
Murat-rc tail lights
22 pinion

What else needs to be upgraded on these for reliability with more power?

Nice build so far 👌, I would caution you with using a metal wing as it won't fold and spring back like a plastic one and it will most likely rip out from where it's attached. Not to mention if the rig ever hits someone that will be an artery slicer and it will be game over for you.

I only say this as I've seen my own rig hit my cousin (his father was driving) and it knocked him clean off his feet and kept going as if he wasn't there. I'm just looking out for you and want it to stay fun for you!

I see you have what looks like a plasma or tig welder in the back and I get where your coming from but make the wing out of a nice husky tote just so at worst it doesn't rip out of the cage.

Yeah the wing is pretty flimsy. I know it’s done after 1 flip lol. But you make a good point on it being dangerous. Thanks

Vitavon wheels came in today. Quality is spot on and the offset is perfect
